Mighty X-Ray Echos Circle 'Lord of the Rings' Neutron Star

The newly observed "X-ray echo" — the largest and brightest of its type ever caught on camera — has allowed researchers to pin down the location of the neutron star Circinus X-1, which lies 30,700 light-years from Earth.
