Lawmakers Call for Golden Coins for Apollo 11 Golden Anniversary

The U.S. Mint may strike gold curved coins to commemorate the golden anniversary of the first manned moon landing, if a new bill is approved. The Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Act calls for gold and silver coins to be struck in 2019.
