NASA Satellite Sees Tropical Storm Marie from Space (Photo)

NASA's GOES-West satellite snapped a photo of Marie at 11:00 a.m. EDT Thursday (Aug. 28), the same day it was downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm. Marie was about 865 miles west of Punta Eugenia, Mexico at the time.
