Near Miss! Asteroid Flies Closer Than Moon | Video

A newly-discovered space rock named 2012 XE54 will make its closest approach to the Earth on December 11th, 2012. It will come about 143,000 miles away from Earth (0.6 Lunar Distance) and is about 120-feet-wide.
