Curiosity's ChemCam Laser'd Los Alamos Before Mars | Video

Prior to rocketing to the red planet, Curiosity's Chemistry and Camera instrument (ChemCam) was tested at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Santa Fe NM. Its laser fired at an iron pyrite crystal, first at 3Hz (pulses per second) then at 10 Hz.
