A new study explains why CDK4/6 inhibitors can shrink tumor in some advanced breast cancers. CDK4/6 inhibitors trigger the immune system to attack tumor cells. CDK4/6 inhibitors can also enhance anti-cancer effect of immunotherapy agents.
