Free radicals

Free radicals are the molecules that outside the human body cause rust in metals or cause browning in sliced apples. Free radical damage in the body is known as oxidative stress and plays a significant role in aging and cell damage. As we get older, our oxidative stress levels increase significantly—our bodies can’t keep up with the free radicals produced through the metabolic process.
