Common consumer chemical linked to liver cancer in mice

Triclosan is an antimicrobial chemical that is commonly added to soaps, shampoos, toothpastes, detergents, and many other household substances around the world. The safety of this controversial additive has been scrutinised for years, and now a new study has found that it can lead to liver cancer in mice.
