See Comet Tails Flap In Solar Wind

Last Thursday, NASA's Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) captured images of two comets passing through solar wind. At the center is Comet Encke, and emerging later is Comet ISON.  STEREO consists of two sun-orbiting observatories, one ahead of Earth and the other behind. On Thanksgiving day, Comet ISON will pass the sun's equator. [NASA]
