NDSU Prof. Kendra Greenlee Receives NSF CAREER Award

A major national grant received by a North Dakota State University biology researcher will help develop ways to effectively control insects and will bolster research opportunities for students to encourage careers in science. Kendra Greenlee, Ph.D., assistant professor of biology at North Dakota State University, Fargo, has received a Faculty Early Career Development award (CAREER) from the National Science Foundation (NSF). Dr. Greenlee will receive a five-year, $800,000 award from the NSF to conduct research outlined in her proposal titled "Ontogenetic Changes in Tracheal System Structure and Function in Larval Insects."
