Saving Our Bees: Ecologists Assess the Impact of People on Pollinators

The undisputed queen of pollinators is the bee, whose daily flights pollinate half of the world's flowering plants. Recently, however, an unexplained decline in bee populations has compromised the health of ecosystems and crops. In session at the ESA Annual Meeting, scientists will explore the problem of habitat loss to determine what can be done to preserve bees.
