Spider's Creepy Mating 'Purr' Recorded by Researchers | Video

Male wolf spiders (Gladicosa gulosa) use vibration to communicate. Unlike other wolf spider species, they create airborne sounds that are audible, but females can only "hear" the vibrations when they resonate on a dry leaf.
