Photos: 9,000-Year-Old Bison Mummy Frozen in Time

The preserved remains of a Steppe bison (Bison priscus) — an ancient relative of modern bison — was found in eastern Siberia. Scientists have now performed a necropsy of the 9,000-year-old bison mummy.
