Why Toronto Was Drenched by Record Rainfall

Nearly 4 inches of rain fell over Toronto in just two hours yesterday, breaking the city's single-day rainfall record. The intense rain was caused by two thunderstorms that merged over the Greater Toronto area, meteorologists said.
