Refusing chickenpox vaccine puts children at risk

Youths who are not inoculated are nine times more likely to develop a serious enough form of the disease to require medical attention, researchers find. Children whose parents refuse to let them be vaccinated for chickenpox are nine times as likely as vaccinated children to develop chickenpox that requires medical attention, researchers reported today.
