New swine flu cases reported around the globe

The number of confirmed cases outside Mexico rises above 90, with swine flu patients reported in Israel, France, New Zealand and South Korea. But the number of new cases in Mexico is on the decline. In an age of widespread air travel, it is difficult, if not impossible, to contain a newly emerged infectious agent, and that is proving to be the case with swine flu, as isolated outbreaks continue to be confirmed around the world, with new cases in Israel, France, New Zealand and South Korea.
