A lawmaker seeks to investigate whether the insurance giant and others denied treatment to civilian workers injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. A senior member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform wants his panel to investigate whether insurance giant American International Group Inc. and other providers have unnecessarily denied and delayed costly medical treatment for civilian contractors injured in Iraq and Afghanistan.
