Photographer to receive Harvard Arts Medal
Photographer Susan Meiselas, Ed.M. ’71, will receive the 2011 Harvard Arts Medal, which will be awarded by President Drew Faust at a ceremony on April 29 at 4 p.m. at New College Theatre. The ceremony, presented by the Office for the Arts and the Board of Overseers of Harvard College, will include a discussion with Meiselas on her career and creative process moderated by actor and host John Lithgow ’67. The Harvard Arts Medal honors a distinguished Harvard or Radcliffe graduate or faculty member who has achieved excellence in the arts and has made a contribution through the arts to education or the public good.
