Michael Herzfeld to receive honorary degree

Michael Herzfeld, professor of anthropology and curator of European ethnology in the Peabody Museum at Harvard University, will receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Macedonia on Fev. 25. Herzfeld, who is the author of several books about Greek society and culture and has researched there for many years, has also conducted fieldwork in Italy and Thailand.
