Greyser wins Sports Marketing Lifetime Achievement Award

Stephen A. Greyser, Harvard Business School’s (HBS) Richard P. Chapman Professor of Business Administration Emeritus, has received the 2010 Sports Marketing Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Marketing Association in recognition of his “distinguished career contributions to the scientific understanding of sports business.” A member of the HBS faculty for more than 40 years, Greyser is an expert on sports management, brand marketing, advertising, corporate communications, and nonprofit management. He has authored or co-authored 16 books, more than 300 case studies, and numerous articles. Greyser developed and taught the first course on the business of sports offered at a leading business school and co-authored the field’s principal text and casebook. He continues to supervise M.B.A. student field studies and serve as faculty adviser to the HBS Business of Sports Club. He now teaches his course at Harvard Extension School.
