High water in Interior lake threatening homes is good for ecosystem and should be left alone, biologist says

Residents of Stump Lake, B.C want some of the water from the lake to be drained, because the high water is damaging their properties. But a retired fisheries biologist said the water level is the lake’s natural high level, which promotes a healthy ecosystem.
