New York sees drop in heart attacks, strokes after trans fat ban

A ban on trans fats in restaurants in New York state has been linked to hundreds of fewer heart attacks and strokes, a new study finds. And as both the U.S. and Canada move to crack down on the artery-cloggers, the findings have the potential to save millions of lives over the coming decades.
