Irregular heartbeat raises stroke risk: report

Up to 250,000 Canadians who have been diagnosed with a type of irregular heartbeat face up to five times greater risk of suffering a fatal stroke - a risk that can be dramatically reduced if medications are taken as prescribed, according to a report released Wednesday.
