Infection risk 'remote' after Carbonear hospital equipment problem: Eastern Health

An equipment malfunction at a hospital in Carbonear last month put 2,900 patients at risk for infections such as hepatitis or HIV, but Newfoundland and Labrador's largest health authority says the risk is "extremely remote."
